It’s time to start the longest stage of the way. At this stage you will say goodbye to Lugo and enter in A Coruña but without leaving behind the large wooded paths and the beautiful landscapes that has accompanied you in a real challenge for even the most experienced person on travels. Its 28.8 kilometers and its nickname are a proof of this: “The legbreaker”. Its short but steep slopes will force you to make occasional stops along the way and it is a must stop for a gourmet to eat the octopus of Melide, which is at km 15. Like that, with a stomach full of octopus, we recommend you to stop a little earlier, in Castañeda, because tomorrow’s stage is not very long, so you can divide the effort. Moreover, the very charming places in Castanedo are a great alternative for the night.
